About David L. Furey

David Furey oversees the firm's business operations with a passion for providing internal teams and clients with the highest levels of service and support. An experience law firm leader, Dave is attuned to addressing the firm's immediate needs and implementing its strategic vision.

Driven to develop unlimited potential firm wide

For nearly 30 years, Dave has led teams to develop efficient information technology operations at large law firms, overseeing technology strategy, operations, litigation support and information governance.

At Katten, Dave developed the firm's ISO 27001 certified information security program, implementing best practices to protect client and firm data. He developed scalable IT architecture and led system integration efforts in several law firm mergers and acquisitions. He also consolidated data centers and introduced advanced technologies to make firm lawyers more productive.

Dave began his career at Katten as the Director of IT before serving as Chief Information Officer at two international Am Law 100 law firms. He returned to Katten in 2013 as CIO.
