Partner Ted Helwig will participate in the panel discussion “Ethics & Civility” at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 19. Panelists will consider how civility in the practice of law is affected by the increasing economic rigor of private practice, and will discuss judicial and bar-led efforts to support civility without sacrificing zealous representation.

Partner Eric Cohen will participate in the town hall discussion “Hot Issues in Damages Litigation: The Entire Market Value Rule, Apportionment and More” at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, June 20. The participants will explore the entire-market-value rule and apportionment, the smallest saleable patent-practicing unit, the theories of lost profits and reasonable royalties, the selection of comparable licenses and the use of licenses negotiated to settle lawsuits, the role of survey evidence, and acceptance/rejection of the Nash bargaining solution.
