About Dmitriy Lampert

Dmitriy Lampert represents banks and other financial institutions making loans to middle market companies. He focuses on loans made to finance purchases of companies by private equity sponsors. He also helps such lenders recover their money in situations where such loans go bad.

Advising clients on what is "normal" in the market, enables them to keep up with the competition

Dmitriy's team closes 500 to 600 deals a year, so he has an intimate understanding of what the norms are for numerous deal terms. Sharing this knowledge with his clients, he helps them stay competitive even in a highly aggressive market. At the same time, he helps them to get the best deal possible and maximize protection of their interest.

The commercial financing transactions Dmitriy deals with include secured and unsecured single lender and syndicated loans, acquisition finance facilities and various structured finance arrangements. Dmitriy also represents creditors' interests in complex loan workouts, restructurings, insolvencies and bankruptcies arising in the context of such transactions.

In addition, Dmitriy has extensive experience representing corporate trustees, collateral agents, issuing and paying agents and other service providers in all stages of domestic and international transactions involving conventional debt, syndicated debt, asset-backed securities, project finance, municipal finance, transportation finance and more.

Previously, Dmitriy worked in the structured finance practice and the bankruptcy group. These past experiences have given him insights that contribute to a more global picture of finance.
