Understanding the unique needs of clients

Don has extensive experience advising clients in the energy sector with respect to a wide variety of financial transactions, including supply contracts, offtake and hedging transactions (physical and financial), tolling arrangements, and construction debt financings. His ability to see both the big picture and the fine details are key to his approach in achieving his clients’ business goals.

In the derivatives space, Don works with issuers, sponsors, derivatives dealers and end-users in a variety of transactions, including structured swaps, total return instruments, credit derivatives, repo contracts and other types of structured products. Don also advises international clients on accessing the US capital markets through complex debt issuances backed by mortgages and other related assets.

Don is recognized in industry publications such as The Legal 500 US, and his clients include financial institutions, insurance companies, underwriters, issuers, corporations and other end-users.
