About Gary L. Redwine

Gary Redwine has a dual focus to his practice: real estate and the environment. His commercial real estate experience includes originating loans for the commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) market. Gary works with local and regional lenders and developers in matters of acquisition, development and leasing. He also represents commercial banks, insurance companies and real estate investment trusts (REITs).

A real estate practice informed by experience in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

In addition to financing, purchasing and selling real estate, Gary is also knowledgeable about the major federal environmental statutes and their various state law analogues. These include the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act. He has served as an attorney-advisor to the Environmental Protection Agency where he focused on enforcement and compliance matters under these laws.

This later experience helps Gary to consummate real estate transactions while limiting risk to his client. Calling upon his experience as an attorney with the EPA, he is able to advise these clients on environmental matters and any challenges they may face from the federal and state governments.
