About Amelia M. Chapple

Amelia Chapple counsels health care clients on compliance issues and claims handling strategies, handles internal and pre-suit investigations and helps clients with complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts across the country.

Amelia advises health care clients on scope of practice and compliance issues, internal and pre-suit investigations, and counsels insurers regarding claims handling strategies designed to combat fraud. She has experience handling pre-suit and settlement negotiations, all stages of active litigation, and settlement enforcement.

During law school, Amelia served as the editor in chief of The John Marshall Law Review and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Virginia M. Kendall of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Prior to law school, Amelia worked in pharmacy compliance for pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) Express Scripts, Inc. (now Cigna), and in Medicare Compliance at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
