About Amelia M. Chapple

Amelia Chapple helps clients with complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts across the country, including complex commercial litigation involving insurance and health care fraud and RICO claims. She also counsels health care clients on compliance issues and claims handling strategies, and she has experience handling internal and pre-suit investigations, active litigation, settlement negotiations and enforcements.

Support for insurers in complex fraud litigation

Amelia advises insurers regarding claims handling strategies designed to combat fraud, including potential and actual litigation at all stages. She has experience handling presuit investigations, settlement negotiations, active litigation, and subsequent appeals and enforcement.

During law school, Amelia served as the editor in chief of The John Marshall Law Review and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Virginia M. Kendall of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Prior to law school, Amelia worked in pharmacy compliance at Express Scripts, Inc., a major pharmacy benefits manager, and Medicare Compliance at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
