About Aron Cooper

Aron Cooper focuses his practice on white-collar criminal defense, internal investigations, complex commercial litigation, and appellate litigation.

Experience leads to litigation success

Aron is known for writing clear and compelling legal arguments in high-stakes cases. He has prepared briefs and motions for trial and appellate courts at both the state and federal level. His briefing covers a variety of practice areas and subjects, including white collar litigation, complex commercial litigation, commercial real estate litigation, product liability litigation, patent litigation, administrative law, immigration law and employment law. Aron also uses his writing and problem-solving skills to help clients respond to government investigations.

Prior to joining Katten, Aron served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jorge A. Solis of the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas. After his clerkship, Aron worked as a litigation associate at an international law firm in Dallas before joining a litigation boutique in Rockwall, Texas.

During law school, Aron was the chief articles editor of The Review of Litigation, served as a teaching quizmaster (teaching assistant and tutor for first-year legal writing program) and interned for the US Attorney's Office, Western District of Texas.
