Claudia Callaway, member of the Privacy, Data and Cybersecurity practice, was quoted in a Law360 article on how the technology behind bitcoin—Blockchain—could be a "game changer" for the legal industry. Claudia noted that there are some kinks in the technology that need to be worked out before it's used for client contracts. She said, "You want to make it hard to revise so no one can go in and hack it. ... [But] this could be written as a killer app and nothing can stop it." Making changes to scheduled payments when there is an error in a smart contract also could pose a challenge; however, there is potential for new dispute work as a result. Claudia stated, "We're only going to know what the enhancements and limitations are once we start working in smart contracts."
