Dagatha helps provide advice on privacy and technology matters, including compliance with rapidly evolving privacy and cybersecurity laws, and engaging and managing IT and cloud service providers. As a member of Katten’s data breach response team, Dagatha also steps in to help clients respond to and recover from data breaches and security incidents.
Guidance on privacy compliance and challenges
Dagatha is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US, CIPP/EU), credentialed by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and is certified to serve as an administrator of OneTrust Privacy Management Software Vendor Management and Consent Management tools. Dagatha assists clients throughout all phases of CCPA compliance, including data mapping and processing activities, vendor management, individual rights management, breach management, privacy and security policies and procedures, and consumer and employee privacy notices. Dagatha also supports clients on technology transactions, including software-as-a-service, cloud services and ecommerce agreements, and advises on the privacy and security impacts of corporate transactions and acquisitions. In this capacity, she serves clients in a range of industries, including health care, legal services, hospitality, fashion, online retail, financial services and aviation.
