About Edward Thiele

Eddie Thiele's practice covers many different aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, secured financing and leasing. As a full-service real estate attorney, Eddie helps navigate his clients through the full life cycle of various classes of commercial real estate located throughout the country.

A collaborative and practical approach to commercial real estate

Eddie appreciates the importance of communication in order to understand his clients' most pressing needs. At the same time, he strives to understand each party's objectives and concerns to help prevent future issues. Eddie works to obtain a favorable outcome for his clients while trying to ensure an efficient and smooth transaction and closing.

Prior to coming to Katten, Eddie was a real estate attorney at a leading real estate firm where he led a number of complex deals early in his career. He also has previous experience in corporate governance and SEC compliance, which helps him identify and address issues in those areas. While in law school, Eddie was a member of the California Law Review and an instructor in the law school's Academic Support Program.
