Fitz Powers concentrates his practice in commercial real estate. He represents banks in the drafting and negotiation of their retail and office leases. He also assists entities making loans secured by real property.

A client's priorities determine desired outcomes

Fitz works with financial services clients across the county. He assists them in drafting and negotiating leases and documenting loans throughout the lifespan of a deal. Recognizing what his clients value most, he focuses his efforts on those items in advocating and negotiating desired outcomes.

Fitz previously worked as an honors intern at the US Securities and Exchange Commission and spent a summer clerking for the honorable Linda Stephens on the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

During law school, Fitz was a merit scholarship recipient and served on the North Carolina Banking Institute Journal as a staff member and editor.
