Jim's experience spans myriad situations in the insolvency context. His creditor side representations include matters on behalf of secured and unsecured creditors or indenture trustees, often as a member of an official committee of unsecured creditors. He also has extensive experience involving bankruptcy litigation, including preference and fraudulent conveyance actions. Other representations include investigations and/or prosecution of claims and causes of action on behalf of debtors, often in the role of "conflicts counsel" or as counsel to independent directors.
