About Lauren Nance
Lauren Nance focuses her practice on commercial real estate due diligence. She is responsible for reviewing title, survey and zoning matters for commercial real estate closings. Her work is essential to preventing potential issues with transactions from becoming problems at closing or even after closing.
Experience in many areas of real estate benefits many clients
Lauren is proficient at reviewing complex titles and addressing various survey and zoning issues. She works for both lenders and purchasers in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Chicago on transactions for commercial real estate valued at up to $90 million. These properties range from office buildings, industrial facilities and retail facilities to residential condominiums, single-family and multifamily developments.
She also has experience in foreclosure litigation, residential mortgage negotiations and landlord/tenant issues. Based on her knowledge of federal laws regarding financial privacy, fair lending, collections and foreclosure, Lauren finds the most efficient and convenient way to handle delinquent or potentially delinquent loans.
Lauren is a member of Katten's Women's Law Association and has helped plan office activities on behalf of the organization.
While in law school, she served as the Student Bar Association's vice president.
