About Malcolm Tucker

Malcolm Tucker advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and general corporate matters. He regularly works with privately held companies, private equity firms, and with professional sports teams and their governing bodies.

Adept at building strong connections through counsel and communication

Detail-oriented and adaptable, clients count on Malcolm's thorough approach to due diligence and his ability to work efficiently to deliver superior client service.

Malcolm brings a client perspective to his Sports and Sports Facilities practice, having served as an apprentice to the general counsel of an NBA team. He has experience counseling professional sports teams, and drafting written consents and closing certificates.

Malcolm, who serves on the Diversity Hiring Committee, is actively involved in recruiting diverse legal talent, interviewing incoming summer associates and working on outreach to Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Malcolm is public service-minded, seeking opportunities to support mission-driven organizations. Before becoming an attorney, he visited Durban, South Africa, where he helped create the first after-school basketball program in the KwaDabeka Township. While at the firm, Malcolm has also worked with pro bono clients, including a national non-profit focused on racial equity, and he serves as general counsel for a non-profit that concentrates on working with Chicago youth, which he brought to the firm for representation.
