About Nicholas Bottcher
Nicholas Bottcher focuses his practice on White Collar and Internal Investigations. Nicholas uses his background as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to identify and mitigate client legal and regulatory risks, especially in the area of finance and accounting.
Bringing an interdisciplinary perspective to addressing client risks
During law school, Nicholas externed with the Honorable Franklin U. Valderrama of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the United States Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of New York. He also was an executive editor of the Northwestern Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology, a co-chair of the Miner Moot Court Competition, and student attorney with the Complex Civil Litigation and Investor Protection Clinic. As a student attorney, he argued a motion in the Circuit Court of Cook County to keep his elderly client in her home. Additionally, Nicholas is an Eagle Scout.
