Craig Barbarosh, a partner in the Insolvency and Restructuring practice, spoke with Law360 in an article addressing the effectiveness of Chapter 9 of the US Bankruptcy Code as a means of municipal restructuring. Craig discussed the settlement of bond insurer Syncora Holdings Ltd., one of the most prominent opponents of the city of Detroit's proposed restructuring plan.
