About Paul Rosen

Paul Rosen views it as part of his role as corporate lawyer to steep himself in his client's business, thoroughly understanding their operations and drivers. This knowledge informs Paul's work advising on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as well as private equity and corporate finance transactions. He also has experience with public takeovers, including the application of the UK Takeover Code. He regularly leads complex, cross-border transactions for international clients.

Relationship-driven counsel informed by industry knowledge

Paul represents private equity and other investment funds, as well as mid-market and large corporations. He has industry sector experience in financial services, consumer and retail, and hospitality and leisure, as well as alternative energy, among other areas.

As a relationship-driven attorney, he makes it a priority to understand the needs of client teams and conduct regular debriefs. This allows him to give practical advice and recommend deal processes that make his clients more efficient. He is invested for the long term, making careful analysis and strategic and commercial recommendations for his clients that both look to the future and fulfill present objectives.

Paul's client-focused approach partly stems from direct in-house experience whilst seconded to an asset manager and leading investment fund. That offered Paul invaluable insights into the day-to-day realities of his clients. Paul has also practiced for over a year in New York with a leading US law firm.
