About Shelby A. Palmer
Shelby Palmer is a litigation associate and focuses her practice primarily on entertainment and media. She assists clients in the entertainment industry who are facing litigation involving issues such as breaches of contract, copyright infringement, and more.
Dedication to clients that stems from a depth of practical knowledge
While in law school, Shelby was a contributor to the entertainment law journal, Spotlight. Additionally, she was a clinical intern at the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Clinic, where she helped clients file trademarks; advised filmmakers on possible defamation, copyright and trademark issues in their documentaries; and submitted an amicus brief on copyright law to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Now, Shelby is dedicated to adequately meeting her clients' needs while providing them with legal counsel and representation throughout all phases of litigation. Additionally, Shelby works on pro bono matters, including finalizing adoptions, and advising nonprofits on intellectual property matters.
