Chairman and Chief Diversity Officer

Dear Friends and Clients,

We are once again pleased to
share with you Katten’s Annual
Diversity Review. In a time when the
challenges of divisiveness often make
front page news, our commitment to
inclusion and diversity is all the more
important.

This past year we invested a

considerable amount of energy and Chief Diversity Officer Leslie Minier and Chairman Roger Furey
time in evaluating and improving

our recruiting processes. We actively

sought out diverse candidates across our offices and in each number of women and diverse lawyers to leadership positions

of our on-campus recruiting programs. Our continued within the firm. One quarter of our Board of Directors is

participation in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity 1L now comprised of women, as is one-third of our Executive

scholar program continues to create a pipeline of distinctive Committee and nearly a third of our National Compensation
