HR MANAGER LEADS TEAM FOR FRIENDLY FIRM RIVALRY TO BENEFIT LA FOOD BANK

Attorneys and business professionals from Katten’s Los Angeles Century City office participated in the campaign,
raising $3,400 to support the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

The annual month-long Food From the Bar campaign features a friendly competition among law firms, law schools
and legal services organizations to see who can raise the most funds to support the Food Bank. This year’s Katten
team was led by Human Resources Manager Nicole Callanan, who in addition to fundraising, helped with packaging
and distributing food for the community.
The Food Bank exceeded its goal this year, raising $624,000 with 75 firms participating.
The Food Bank notes the amount provides more than 2 million meals to the one in four
children who are food insecure in the Los Angeles County area. Since Food From The Bar
launched in 2009, it has raised more than $5.5 million.

interact with four of SOSC’s athletes, who shared just how impactful SOSC has

been to their lives. It’s such a caring organization, and I’m proud that Katten has
been such a committed sponsor,” said Litigation partner David Halberstadter,
who serves on the SOSC Board of Directors.
