About Paul S. Yong

Paul Yong helps clients successfully navigate some of their most difficult and complex litigation matters. As an experienced and skilled securities litigator, he regularly defends public companies and their directors and officers in securities class actions, shareholder derivative actions, and government and internal investigations.

A forward-thinking litigator

Paul is a creative advocate who comes up with innovative approaches to complex legal and factual issues. He represents clients from a wide range of industries, with a particular focus on technology and life sciences. Paul has experience handling all phases of a lawsuit, from complaint to trial.

In addition to his core securities litigation practice, he also represents clients in intellectual property, breach of contract and other complex commercial disputes. Committed to Katten's pro bono and diversity initiatives, Paul currently serves as a co-chair of Katten's Committee for Racial and Ethnic Diversity.

While attending law school, Paul was a managing editor for both the UCLA Law Review and the Asian Pacific American Law Journal. In addition, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Victor B. Kenton, magistrate judge of the US District Court for the Central District of California
