About Tenley Mochizuki

Tenley Mochizuki handles a variety of commercial disputes in state and federal courts around the country, as well as arbitrations and investigations. Her clients are in diverse industries including hospitality, financial services and insurance. They are international and domestic companies and individuals. And they turn to Tenley to help them get control of property, money, information or peace of mind.

Tenley has shepherded matters through the entire life cycle of litigation or arbitration, from pre-complaint investigation through trial or hearing and settlement. She focuses on complex, sensitive disputes that demand organization and tact, and knows how to deal with issues efficiently. She's well-versed in all aspects of discovery, including multiple eDiscovery platforms and protocols. She has also done internal investigations and assisted in government investigations. In all cases, Tenley is committed to resolving her clients' problems as quickly, gracefully and cost-effectively as possible.

Tenley completed the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Pathfinder program. She also serves on Katten's Associates Committee on behalf of the NY office. Substantively, she works on complex cases about matters varying from aviation and education law to insurance and intellectual property. Many of her cases have involved Mexico, Brazil, Puerto Rico, the USVI and the Cayman Islands. Tenley also has arbitration experience with International Chamber of Commerce and has worked on several Article 78 cases, which specifically challenge government action.

While attending law school, she participated in the Advocacy for the Elderly Clinic and worked on the Virginia Environmental Law Journal.
