Gil explained that the move was driven by Katten 2030, the firm’s five-year strategic plan, which emphasizes smart growth in priority areas, including finance and financial services. With those types of clients and companies moving and expanding to South Florida, Miami became an obvious choice.
"All the stars align for us here in the five-year strategic plan. Continuous movement by big companies, big clients into South Florida, and we made the commitment to do it ... and we are now in it," Gil said.
