About Corey Samantha Peterson

Corey Peterson concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution, and has represented a broad range of clients, including large-scale real estate developers, property owners, landlords, tenants and nonprofit organizations. Her experience clerking and litigating in local trial courts allows her to develop creative solutions to her client’s legal challenges and puts her clients in the best position to achieve positive outcomes.

Business-oriented litigation support

Before joining Katten, Corey represented local condominium associations, residential cooperatives and community associations in covenant enforcement, governing Maryland document interpretation and litigation at another law firm. She also served as a law clerk to judges in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. In law school, she was the co-president of the Mock Trial Honor Society, and was a recipient of the Stephen S. Weinstein Trial Advocacy Program’s Mooers Trophy for her excellence in trial advocacy.
