About Ethan Asofsky

Ethan Asofsky focuses his practice on counseling companies and investors on corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, co-investments and joint ventures, with a focus on sports, entertainment and media. His practice includes the representation of professional sports teams and sponsors of professional sports teams in connection with day-to-day operations, equity financings, sponsorship deals, licensing deals, stadium deals and other commercial matters.

Industry experience to build relationships and achieve results

Ethan is a people person — he loves learning about his clients' businesses, and how he can help them reach their goals. He tries to achieve the best outcome for clients by thinking of creative win-win strategies to bridge gaps between parties in negotiation.

Ethan has deep knowledge of the sports industry that offers a distinctive perspective and a way to relate to clients. Prior to working in sports law at a big firm, he worked in other sectors of the sports industry, including positions in production at a major sports network, and in legal and business affairs at a sports marketing and talent management company.

Ethan serves on the Board of Directors of the Asofsky Family Foundation, which assists 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in reaching their goals to create a better world, and Piece by Piece, which is a non-profit social enterprise supporting individuals in Los Angeles who have faced economic insecurity and/or experienced homelessness by providing free mosaic art workshops.
