As a notes editor and published author in the University of Illinois Law Review, he honed his ability to analyze and dig deeply into nuanced issues of law and policy to produce creative solutions. He was also a member of a moot court team that advanced to national competition, and was selected as a member of the Frederick Green Moot Court Competition, where he demonstrated proficiency in understanding complex questions of law and fact and the ability to efficiently simplify and communicate those issues in oral and written form.
