Dedication to detail and innovative solutions

Joanna leads and manages health care M&A transactions, with a focus on transactions involving management service organizations (MSOs), physician practices and other provider entities. Joanna also assists strategic investors, private equity-backed platforms, and providers in navigating the complex health care regulatory landscape by providing guidance on various aspects of regulatory compliance, including reimbursement under federal health care programs, corporate practice of medicine, HIPAA, and fraud and abuse laws, such as the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute and the False Claims Act.

Joanna maintains a robust pro bono practice and is also committed to supporting the legal community through mentorship of other young professionals.
