New York Real Estate Partner Julie Lee has been named among the 2025 "Ones to Watch — Rising Stars" by the New York Real Estate Journal. The annual list recognizes professionals who are making a strong impact within their firms and across the New York commercial real estate industry.
In her honoree profile, Julie shared a recent professional milestone that she is proud of, which involved advising on the acquisition and construction financing of a 325,000-square-foot Class A office building in Atlanta, featuring 600 structured parking spaces and governed by a commercial and residential condominium regime. "The transaction was complex due to challenges in the distressed office market and involved sophisticated bond repayment structuring under a municipal ground lease, negotiation of tax abatement incentives, and the structuring and negotiation of construction financing for tenant improvements — all aligned with the client’s investment and development strategy," she said.
She also shared a career tip for those starting out in real estate law, encouraging new attorneys to stay curious and emphasizing that "the most successful people aren't the ones who know everything, but those who keep asking questions and remain open to new ideas."
