Corporate Global Chair Kimberly Smith and Mergers and Acquisitions Partner Josh Feiger led a Katten team that advised Port Jersey Logistics Network (PJLN) on its acquisition of Fond du Lac (FDL). PJLN is a portfolio company of Maxwell Street Capital Partners.

The deal is PJLN's first acquisition since Maxwell Street invested, and a key step in the platform's growth strategy. It adds wine, spirits and specialty foods to PJLN's customer base. It also gives FDL's customers access to PJLN's wider warehousing and transportation network.

Katten's multidisciplinary team included Employment Transactions Partner and Practice Head Michelle Gyves; Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Partner Mitchel Pahl and Associate Leslie Nash; Partner Nancy Rich; Real Estate Counsel Andrea Prell and Associate Katie Ward; Private Credit Partner Patrick McDermott and Associates Timothy Brown and Amy Schlagel; and Corporate Associates Kylie Sholty and Astoneia Moss.
