The Fashion Law (TFL) recognized Katten on its inaugural list of top law firms specializing in fashion law, luxury goods and consumer products. The list is a compilation of the largest US law firms with fashion law practices that meet criteria including, but not limited to, "the size and scope of their practices, the breadth of fashion law services offered, their notable client base, and their active involvement in the fashion law community," as stated in the TFL announcement.
The list noted that Katten's Fashion, Retail, Luxury and Beauty practice, led by New York Intellectual Property Partner and National Co-Chair of Katten's Trademark/Copyright/Privacy Group Karen Artz Ash, provides a broad range of services for its clients, including appeals and critical motions, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) litigation and sustainability compliance, intellectual property, litigation, trademark licensing and strategy, and beyond. TFL also noted the firm's "extensive experience in anti-counterfeiting measures" and its prowess related to "helping brands protect their designs and trademarks from infringement in both physical and digital marketplaces."
