(NEW YORK) Katten announced today that the firm was named a leader in Hatch-Waxman litigation for the fifth consecutive year in the 2024 Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) Litigation Intelligence Report, a comprehensive look at the best-performing and most active Hatch-Waxman attorneys and law firms.
Katten ranked among the best three law firms in the Most Active Law Firms Representing Defendants category and was named a top 10 firm in Most Active Law Firms Overall (Representing Defendants or Plaintiffs). Katten Global Intellectual Property Department Chair Deepro R. Mukerjee, Patent Litigation Co-Chair Lance A. Soderstrom and Partner Dr. Jitendra "Jitty" Malik ranked among the top 10 in the individual attorney Defendant Activity category and the top 25 in Overall Activity. Partner Joseph M. Janusz was named in the top 25 on the individual attorney Defendant Activity list.

The 2024 ANDA Litigation Intelligence Report is based on the activity and performance of attorneys and law firms for Hatch-Waxman litigation. Researchers evaluated 199 law firms and the top 1,500 most active ANDA attorneys and analyzed the data from 1,321 ANDA cases filed from July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2024.
