Katten represented long-time client Utopia Global, a software and services company for data quality, migration and governance, in its sale to Prometheus Group, a global provider of asset management operations and optimization software.
Global, which produces cutting-edge software, will operate as a separate business unit of Prometheus Group and continue to focus on market collaboration and creating innovative products. The transaction will help Utopia extend its reach, capabilities and coverage into new areas, such as Cloud and Data-as-a-Service (DaaS), and help Prometheus Group enhance its solutions.
