About Lauren Batterham

Lauren Batterham focuses her practice on a wide range of financing matters, with extensive experience advising financial institutions and other lenders at every stage of the lending relationship. Lauren regularly represents clients in transactions across several industries, including defense, health care, logistics, professional sports and technology.

Excellent communication skills help all clients

While in law school, Lauren was a lead articles editor for the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal, the symposium editor for Annals of Health Law and a constitutional law academic tutor. Additionally, she received a Beazley Institute for Health Law and Policy Fellowship at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and is a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society. She also received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Legal Writing, Advocacy and Administrative Law.

Prior to joining Katten, Lauren served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Supreme Court Justice Sanjay T. Tailor and as an Advocacy Resource Center extern at the American Medical Association.
