About Matthew Messina

Matthew T. Messina focuses his practice on intellectual property matters, with an emphasis on trademark litigation and enforcement, advertising and brand-related disputes, and patent litigation.

A well-rounded background of experience

During law school, Matthew served as editor in chief of the DePaul Law Review and co-president of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. He was the recipient of the 2024 Student Leadership Award and six CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, including in Trademark & Unfair Competition, First Amendment, and Negotiations.
