Megan McKennon represents clients in a variety of industries in complex civil and commercial litigation and business disputes. Representative Experience

  • Member of a trial team that obtained over $520 million in settlement funds on behalf of a Global Fortune 500 Company over a three-year period in a confidential arbitration proceeding involving force majeure and material breach issues.
  • Obtained complete dismissal of claims against a banking institution for lack of personal jurisdiction filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, with such dismissal being affirmed on appeal.
  • Obtained summary judgment for a venture capital firm on the firm’s claims for breach of guaranty agreements. Summary judgment resulted in a final judgment of over $1 million plus interest for the venture capital firm.
  • Successfully defended an international chain of salons against breach of contract claims, resulting in complete dismissal of the lawsuit.
  • Part of a trial team representing a software staffing company that successfully obtained a temporary restraining order against a former employee for theft of trade secrets.
  • Successfully defended a telecommunications company against breach of contract claims in arbitration, resulting in a complete dismissal of all claims. *
