About Michael Ferretti

Michael Ferretti focuses on commercial finance matters, primarily representing clients who provide debt-financing solutions to middle-market borrowers through syndicated and single-lender transactions, US and cross-border secured and unsecured financings, leveraged buyouts and other financing arrangements.

Experience that leads to a broad knowledge base

Michael has a background in financial services and commercial business litigation which enables him to draft and negotiate agreements with a perspective towards accomplishing client goals while also mitigating risk. 

During law school, Michael was the business editor of the Law Review and served as a peer mentor. He also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Robert C. Hunter (ret.) in the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

Michael also enjoys giving back to his community through working with the Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy to provide pro bono estate planning guidance and legal representation.
