Dedication to detail and effective advocacy
As a law student, Skylar served as an editor on the Northwestern University Law Review, externed with a federal judge on the Northern District of Illinois and represented clients through Northwestern’s Second Chances for Youth Clinic. Prior to law school, Skylar worked on a political campaign and as a legislative aide for the Illinois House of Representatives, Office of the Speaker. She is dedicated to pro bono service, specifically immigration proceedings and civil rights actions.
