Partner Henry Bregstein will join a panel to discuss "The New and Evolving Regulatory Environment: What It Means for Hedge Funds and Their Investors" from 11:15 a.m.–12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21. The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act has ushered in a new regulatory era that for most hedge funds will mostly place registration and reporting requirements on them that they could previously avoid. The panel will review the key issues Dodd-Frank raises for investors inasmuch as they may affect the management and performance of hedge funds, discuss what current and expected proposals are shaping up as, and look into what other rules and regulations could yet be proposed due to the legislation.
