Partner Matthew Brown will participate in a panel discussion on “Key Issues In Negotiating Preferred Stock Investments and Exits” at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 9. Presented by the ABA’s Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee, this CLE program will use a mock negotiation and commentary from Chief Justice Steele of the Delaware Supreme Court to explore issues associated with initial and down-round preferred stock investments, as well as exit rights for preferred stock investors.
Partner Brian Winterfeldt will participate in a panel discussion on “Online Brand Protection Strategies and the new gTLDs: Understanding the Trademark Clearing House (TMCH) and Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS)” at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10. Panelists will provide an overview of the TMCH and the URS as well as some recommendations and strategies for their utilization.
