Insolvency and Restructuring Associate Yelena Archiyan has been chosen to participate in the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges' (NCBJ) Next Generation (NextGen) program this year. The program, which will take place during NCBJ's Annual Meeting in Seattle, will host an exclusive Judicial Roundtable program as well as networking opportunities and social events with other 2024 classmates and NextGen alumni.
To be eligible for consideration, participants like Yelena were required to meet the following qualification criteria:
- 10 or fewer years in practice
- A practice that centers on bankruptcy law
- A demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of civility, ethics, and professionalism
- A demonstrated commitment to the educational development of bankruptcy professionals and to professional activities that benefit the public, the bankruptcy bar and the court system.
As an insolvency and restructuring attorney, Yelena focuses her practice on commercial restructuring and reorganization matters, including out-of-court workouts, asset sales, liquidations and bankruptcy-related litigation. She helps creditors in bankruptcy proceedings recover assets, obtain relief from the automatic stay and negotiate plan provisions. Yelena also represents debtors and has experience in the energy, oil and gas, precious metals, restaurant and retail sectors.
