Katten will sponsor the BWLF's annual Scholarship and Awards Luncheon, which recognizes women who have used their law degrees to reach the highest heights of their respective professions, while at the same time demonstrating a strong commitment to public service. This year's honorees include Major General Marcia Anderson, the first African-American female two-star general in the United States Army Reserve; Kaye Lindsey, former senior vice president of operations for State Farm Insurance Companies – California Zone; Zola Mashariki, senior vice president of production at Fox Searchlight Pictures; and Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, senior vice president and chief tax officer for Wal-Mart Stores. The BWLF will also award scholarships to selected law students.
