HEALTH NONPROFIT
Chicago Corporate Associates Alex Haddad and Quincy Wolff successfully rep-
resented Illinois Unidos, a nonprofit focused on Latinx health disparities related
to COVID-19, in obtaining its IRC 501(c)(3) status. They prepared comprehen-
sive organizational documents, advised the board and executive director, and
facilitated the nonprofit’s exit from its current fiscal sponsor. Janet Goelz
Hoffman, who oversaw the project, praised Alex and Quincy for their excep-
tional work, noting the challenges they navigated and their success in negotiating
a new fiscal sponsorship agreement for Illinois Unidos.
