A background of court experience that built litigation knowledge
While in law school, Brett gained experience representing clients as a 711 Student Attorney. In this role, Brett represented the parents of disabled adults petitioning for guardianship of their children. Brett was a member of Loyola University Chicago’s nationally ranked moot court program focusing on issues relating to the 14th amendment. He also gained insight into the Northern District of Illinois through a judicial externship with the Honorable John F. Kness.
