About Chaz Beasley

Chaz Beasley brings years of high-level securitization and structured finance experience to Katten. Starting his career in the secondary mortgage industry at the height of the 2008–2009 financial crisis, Chaz has worked on both the business and legal sides of complex financial transactions. In addition to several years of financial industry experience, Chaz served as a state representative in the North Carolina legislature for two terms before joining Katten.

Unique and comprehensive experience in financial markets

Chaz’s broad experience in successfully leading structured finance transactions, as well as creating and implementing statutes and regulations, provides him with a unique ability to provide strategic insights for his clients. He represents a variety of financial institutions, including government-sponsored enterprises. He provides value in his representation of borrowers, lenders, issuers, and underwriters in asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities offerings, warehouse financings and various types of credit facilities.
