Partner and Private Wealth Chair Joshua Rubenstein will participate in two sessions on Tuesday, May 12, during the Citywealth Forum, which he will also chair.

At 12:00 p.m., he will moderate the "Politics, taxation and wealth – transgenerational wealth" panel discussion, where panelists will discuss the politics behind taxing private wealth. With shrinking taxpayer bases and increasing demand for public services, a more insecure world (with the United States retreating from underpinning NATO) and increasing inequality, governments are also facing the possibility of AI wiping out huge swathes of the workforce. What does this mean for tax rates, wealth creation and politics in an increasingly right-wing, anti-global economy world?

At 2:00 p.m., he will speak on the "Litigation – capacity" panel, discussing business capacity, testamentary capacity, trust capacity and marital capacity, as well as considering estate planning and capacity.
