Lawyers of Color, which promotes diversity in the legal profession, selected Corporate associate Fabiola Valenzuela for inclusion on its 2022 "Hot List." The annual list recognizes early- to mid-career attorneys excelling in the legal profession.
Fabiola concentrates her practice on structuring, negotiating and documenting business transactions and has represented emerging companies and investors throughout the corporate life cycle across a number of industries. She regularly advises investors and companies on a variety of matters, including company formations, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings and corporate governance.
She maintains an active pro bono practice, handling, among other matters, cases involving minors in federal immigration and deportation proceedings.
Using a two-pronged process, Lawyers of Color selects honorees who are spotted by the selection committee or whose nominations are submitted for consideration.
