James Brady, counsel in the Financial Markets and Funds practice, will participate in the "What Does ESG Mean for Derivatives Markets?" discussion during the Chicago Bar Association's Futures & Derivatives Law Seminar 2022: ESG, Black Swans, and Enforcement Trends, beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15. The hybrid seminar will include discussions on:

  • ESG developments in derivatives markets, including a new framework for assessing climate risk in derivatives markets, carbon pricing, emissions futures products and private fund governance
  • The legal and regulatory impacts of Black Swan events such as those that recently occurred in energy and metals derivatives markets
  • The enforcement trends that are top of mind in self-regulatory organizations
