Ian Waggoner focuses on assisting financial institutions and asset managers in a variety of transactional and regulatory matters. Solving complex problems through a detail-oriented, client-focused approach

In law school, Ian served as vice president of firm visits for the Corporate and Business Law Association. He was also an editor, and then administrative editor, for the Elder Law Journal. During his 3L year, Ian worked in the Illinois Veterans Law Clinic, assisting local veterans with family, discharge and property-related issues. Before coming to Katten, Ian worked for the City of Chicago Department of Law and for a civil litigation and real estate firm in Ohio.
