About Jason Najacht

Jason Najacht understands that serving the firm's technology needs also takes a keen understanding of the unique security needs of our clients. He has deep experience managing technology and security programs for large, global law firms.

Forward-focused thinking

Jason has decades of experience with all types of back-end technology and customer support teams, including information technology, network infrastructure, messaging, data centers, telecommunications, vendor management, team building and financial management; and particular prowess in collaboration, security, technology strategy, disaster recovery, project management, document management system solutions and vendor management. With an eye for creative problem solving, he is responsible for budgeting and strategic management of technology that supports Katten in the office and remotely.

Jason uses perspective gained throughout his career to inform his approach to leadership. His experience in various technology-related roles on his way to CIO helps him relate to the business professionals he oversees and other colleagues he works with throughout the firm. He also taps into his background in the legal, financial and pharmaceutical industries to anticipate needs of the firm and the clients we serve.

Recognizing the depth of his leadership experience, Jason was a top five finalist for Chicago CIO of the Year in 2019 (Orbie Awards).

Jason is committed to giving back through several local and regional charity organizations and is active in his community church.
