His responsive and decisive approach, along with his background in accounting and tax, leads to elegant solutions for his clients from both a business and legal perspective.

Client-focused solutions for sophisticated lending

Kader focuses his practice on commercial lending, corporate finance and private equity transactions. He works closely with money center banks and nonbank institutional lenders in connection with a variety of acquisition financings and cross-border transactions, including senior secured cash flow and asset-based credit facilities, unitranche financings, stretched senior financings and mezzanine and second lien facilities.

With a primary focus on the middle market segment for sponsor acquisition financings, Kader’s transactional experience reflects a deep understanding of this space. His practice also encompasses a wide spectrum of the lending market, ranging from bilateral sponsor acquisition financings to broadly syndicated credit facilities for large private and public companies.

Kader has an active pro bono practice, including assisting nonprofit lenders in establishing business structures and matters related to lending regulations compliance. Additionally, he counsels local organizations of all types in business formation, corporate governance and other general corporate matters.

Prior to beginning his legal career, Kader was a certified public accountant with a Big Four accounting firm. In law school, he served as a staff writer for the North Carolina Law Review.
